Hospitality lives on guest experience, and nothing breaks it faster than power that comes and goes. Outages stop lifts, kitchens and air conditioning, spoil food, and force a diesel generator to run through the night beside the rooms. Solar and battery backup carries the guest-facing load silently through outages and takes a large share off the electricity bill, since hotels consume most when the sun is up. The generator stays only as deep backup.
